Christine Spiteri suing 9 for $500,000

News of another TV Network being sued, recently with the Seven Network being sued and paying out an undisclosed amount for defaming Mercedes Corby and now former Nine Network presenter Christine Spiteri to sue her former employer. The Nine Network had been fighting……….(read story) Ms Spiteri’s wishes to sue the television station over a breach of contract.

She has been given the green light to pursue legal action against Nine.

She is seeking damages of more than $500,000 against Nine.

Among Ms Spiteri’s claims include sexism at the network and a breach of contract over her pregnancy.
