Channel 10 loses rights to the ARIA’s

The Nine Network has secured the rights to broadcast this year’s ARIA Awards in November. The Australian music industry’s night of nights has been partnered with Network Ten for 15 of the past 16 ceremonies, but questions were raised over this year’s telecast when Ten let its contract lapse. Channel Nine announced on Wednesday it would broadcast the star studded show from Acer Arena in Sydney on November 26th. The ARIA Hall of Fame event will also air for the first time on free-to-air television on channel nine from Melbourne’s Forum Theatre in August.
